Okay, here we go again... After much frustration with our blog (i.e. we can never get the title thingy to work) we have decided to try a new blog site, one that is quite popular with our friends. So, hopefully I, Shauna, can keep this updated throughout the week with little life tidbits and pictures. As for our newsletter, I think we will continue to send those as a pdf via email.
The most exciting happenings as of late- with the church plant is a building we are looking at in hopes to buy/lease and remodel for the community center and church. It was the Parish's bowling alley and has some great potential for many different types of ministries to be happening out of. Right now Aaron is slicing apples to dehydrate for a trip he's taking- hiking and camping at the Grand Canyon with his pops and brother and other guys from Indian Creek Christian Church. He leaves Friday and will be gone until next Saturday! I have high hopes to have a great week with Everly and to get some projects done around here to surprise him. And, the other exciting thing in our life is looking at our friends website- Jen and Joel Searby, who just had their baby boy Evan last Friday. He's so cute. A future friend and hopefully vacation buddy for Everly.
Welp, I better go cut apples, there's a lot to do!
